Hey, my name is Brian. I am the singer and guitar player for a gospel rock band called WHERE ARE THE NINE. I am married and have a baby girl and a baby boy! About ten years ago I became a Christian by surrendering my life to Jesus Christ. At that time, I wrote a lot of songs just me, myself, and I on the acoustic guitar, and had them recorded by a buddy of mine. Most of the songs, as you'll discover, are basically glimpses into how I was thinking and feeling at that time, in my new conversion experience and new-found relationship with Jesus Christ. Let's see, I used to listen to some really dark stuff before my conversion, such as: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Malevolent Creation, Deicide, Obituary, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Ozzy Osborne, Pantera, etc...... and then there were radio friendly rock groups like: Led Zepplin, Van Halen, ACDC, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Whitesnake, 3 Doors Down, Rush, etc...... and then when I became a Christian, I quit listening to all that stuff because it didn't embrace the lifestyle I chose with Christ, nor did it agreee with the message. So then I became more interested in, and continue to listen to bands such as: Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Phil Keaggy, Hillsong, Keith Green, Jars of Clay, Pillar, Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, etc............ and occasionally, I still don't mind listening to some country such as: Keith Urban, Randy Travis, Josh Turner, and George Strait, and I still have a tremendous appreciation for and occasionally listen to musical virtuosos such as: John Mclaughlin, Eric Johnson, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, John Scofield, etc..........
