A thoughtful responder to life and God, Laura has believed for years that good music is like a Trojan Horse, stealing into hearts behind high walls. She loves mingling various genres, with the flavors of jazz woven throughout even the blues and acoustic styles.
Her hobby is home design. Creating community spaces for students and artists in a home-away-from-home has now grown into her third hospitality venture. She and her husband Bill have shared years of mentoring and hospitality to people in transition as well as to seminary students and missionaries. They are currently in the process of building a community house called "Poet's Rest", in Englewood, Colorado.

Combine THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT with OH BLACK WATER, and Andreas Bochelli, toss in a little Crabb Family into the salad and you got her creative oozy mix of genres. Lyrical and literary, Larkins contemplates some untouchables in the religious pop world, and says, "you'll like it, bud". What's not to like?
