screams:
Has anyone read the Sword of Truth series? I recently began reading the first one, Wizard's First Rule, and it's pretty amazing so far. It is written so well, very solid and very intelligent writing. Goodkind is inspidered by Ayn Rand (Fountain Head, Atlas Shrugged), and he uses her philosophy and ideologies in his writing. It's fantasy, but it's not typical fantasy. It's also not like reading something that's obviously a book inspired by, or ripped off from Tolkien. Highly recommended. It's age demographics are intended more for adults, it's kind of got a lot of complex themes in it. Not saying anyone younger can't enjoy it, I just don't want to recommend something and have a person who is younger just hate it and wonder why I said it was good.
