[b]John 9:6 … "He spits on the ground and makes mud out of the spittle, and anoints the blind man on his eyes with the mud, and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" .... He went away, then, and washes, and came, seeing." [/b] In this account Yeshua daubs the blind man’s eyes, then instructs him to wash the mud from his eyes – following Yeshua’s instructions, the man sees. Yeshua teaches that in order to see, you must follow the master’s instructions (the Torah). The religious elite follow their own "Torah" and G-d has daubed their eyes with mud. [b]Isaiah 44:13 "He has wrought with wood ... And made it according to the form of a man ... Cutting down to himself cedars ... Yea, he kindled [it], and has baked bread, ... Half of it he has burned in the fire ... And its remnant for a god he has made ... He … prayed unto it, and he said, `Deliver me, for my god you [are].` They have not known, nor do they understand, For He has daubed their eyes from seeing, Their heart from acting wisely."[/b] If the religious leaders (jewish and christian) would humble themselves and accept the master’s teachings, then the mud would be washed from their eyes and they would see. [b]John 9:41 "Yeshua said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin. Yet now you say 'We see.' Your sin, then, remains."[/b]
