This has been a topic debated several times by people at my school and people at my church, and I want to hear your opinion: Do you think the earth is old (millions or billions of years old) or young (thousands or hundred thousands)? I personally believe that God created the world, not necessarily in seven twenty-four hour days because that all depends on how you translate the Hebrew word day: one means a literal twenty-four hour day and one means an indefinite period of time. Anyway, I believe the earth is old because, first of all, the experts use carbon-dating on dinosaur bones and they come out as billions of years old. Plus, in the Bible, it doesn't tell us everything that happens between the creation and the time of Jesus' birth (year 0, it's been 2008 years since then). We have no proof on weather the earth is young or old, only God knows. I just want to hear your thoughts on this topic.
