I\'ve never heard the example of grapes or herd of cattle until now. The only one I\'ve heard is \"a man stick with his wife, and they are to be one flesh\" That\'s the one that makes sense in this context, because we have two separate people, man and wife, that are one. The same with the Trinity. Three separate deities; Father, Son, Spirit...that are one.
