The Law is not necessary nor sufficient for salvation. If you hope in the Law for salvation, you hope in vain. What I'm attempting to understand is what does "end of the Law" mean if the Law has not passed away? Maybe some think the Law [i]has[/i] passed away; I'd respectfully disagree. For me, the Law is there for our benefit and it is to our righteousness, meaning it shows our righteousness-as opposed to making us righteous-to follow it. (I hope that made sense).
