Yesterday I had some internet problems. So I was unable to connect and post my 10th favorite. So this time, I won't just post 2. Oh no. I'm already ready for giving out all of my all time favorites right here, as many as I can today. I'm going on full throttle right here! 10. When this series first came out, I had no idea that it did. I found it as an accident. But when I watch the first episode on the same day it first came out, I was stunned. This show was just awesome in so many levels. And when I say that, I don't just mean the levels in the tower. I'm just a bit surprised that not too many people have ever heard of this movie before. I mean there are some here and there, but not once have I seen or heard even an anime fan ever once mention it. There's nothing wrong with it. The animation looks amazing, and the music is amazing too. The action is fast pace and cool to look at. It is funny at times, but doesn't overshadow the main plot to the show. The first episode was pretty hilarious, which is funny, because I'm not really into comic relief in just about anything that is made only for action. But this show really delivers. It was so good, that it actually has such a great happy ending, with a great conclusion, but that's all that I'm going to say about that. I will not try to attempt to spoil anything to you. 9. This is not just the first Miyazaki film that I have ever scene, but it is the first anime movie that I have ever seen at the age of five. So I always considered this one to be the start of my interest of anime. I really love how creative Hayao Miyazaki can be, but this is his best work to my perspective. I even rank it as one of my all time favorite movies on my msn messenger profile. Now all I have to do is just buy this movie. The best part about this film is that its made for everyone. Not just for kids, or babies, but also for adults. Anyone can watch this movie, and enjoy it for what it is, even for the cat bus that is in this with, with a giant raccoon making a giant creepy smile on the kids face, towering over them. Shoot, I was excited to see him in Toy Story 3. He was in it! The other interesting thing that I just found out is that Satsuki and Mei's house actually exists. The only difference is that it's not as big as the movie makes it to be. I really do have to appreciate and give credit to Hayao Miyazaki. He is like the Walt Disney of anime movies. Except that he isn't a free mason. I feel as if I despise of this movie, then I despise of my taste of anime. Its almost as if my love for anime is in the balance of Totoro, hanging on a cord that can snap by doing an irresponsible thing to it. 8. I can do a whole commentary on this whole show. Trigun was one of the first shows that I have seen on Adult Swim. The action is insane, the comedy is just funny and crazy to not like, and the characters are very unforgettable. The intro to this show is more like if James' Addiction and Jimmy Page helped make a song just for this one show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzHe4U5c5Oc I have never meet anyone in my life who ever watched this and say that they didn't like it. Vash is just someone who anyone can relate to. He's charming, nice, and is just brave to get into just about anything that comes in his way. His friends, Meryl and Milly, are great roles as his sidekicks. But the one who clearly steals the show as a supportive character is none other than Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who is a priest, and an expert gunman, who carries a huge cross that has multiple guns built into it. And it is a bit ironic that he is in, because the production assistant, Naoto Oyama, is a Christian, which explains why there are some biblical moments in the series. For example, in the episode of Murder Machine, Wolfwood uses a confession box of some sort, correct me if I'm wrong on that, that is shaped like a church. But in the manga, he said that the church is us. I had no idea when I was informed about that, since I never read the mangas till I bought the first volume of Trigun Maximum, which begins in the second half of the show. Actually, let's get into the manga for a sec. I have read only 3 volumes of Maximum, and I have to say that the mangas are far more superior than the show. The action is better, and the story is written better the way how its laid out. So in other words, I put the manga over the anime. It just serves a better story, and it makes a lot more sense the way they tell it. I know that there is a Trigun movie out in Japan, and I don't know if they are going to bring it here in America. Not even the voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch, doesn't even know if they will hire him do to do the movie, once its been decided if the movie will come over here. And speaking of Johnny Yong Bosch... 7. Yup, so more Johnny Bosch for ya. This is the last mech anime I have seen since this July. This show just delivers something new and fresh within Japan, and it never gets old. I really love how this began with a short story line that didn't need at least another episode to know the story and the plot of the show. It tells you in plain daylight. The Brittanian Empire goes to Japan to take over the nation, as well as the others throughout the world. Japan is now taken under control, and now has its new name: Area 11. 7 years later, a rebellion begins with the Japanese fighting against the Brittanian take over. See, wasn't it that difficult? And no, I will not leave out the main character of the show, Lelouch, who is Brittanian, but hates the empire, after his father kicks him out of the family, due to his mother's death. And no, I did not spoil anything by saying that. He gets his new ability from a girl named C.C., and now has the power to command just about anyone with his left eye. From there on, he becomes into the infamous Zero, and takes control of the Japanese resistance. The thing that I love about Lelouch is that you really don't know if he is suppose to be either the good guy or will end up as the bad guy of the show. But I just think that he only talks like a bad guy. He is brilliant, and has the mind of a war hero. He normally uses his war strategies from a perspective of a chess player, and uses his battle plans as if he is playing chess, where he is king, and everyone else are like pawns to him. I have read the mangas, but I have to put the anime over this one. The action just isn't the same. They aren't using any mechs to fight in the beginning, and its pretty bland for something that is based in the near future. The story is the same, but the show just lays it out better. There is now a new manga series that is based in fetal Japan, and tells about the early years of the Brittanian empire at the time. So far, there are only 2 chapters, and they are pretty darn good so far. The other cool thing that I liked about this show was the music. The music in show would always tends to get better and better the more the series develops. The intros are also pretty cool too, making them one of my all time favorite intros. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0btAyMESc0 The third intro is okay, but there is something special about that one. Just listen to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=WW1ow8LNooQ&feature=related If you haven't guessed it, they did this other intro to this series: 6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTv_LorOv5s&p=C98FD312F2E6B763&playnext=1&index=1 Get prepared guys, because I'm about to praise the living daylights out of this one. I am still in the process of watching this show, and it feels almost as if this show will never end. Bleach has got to be probably one of the longest running series that has ever put on print and on air. And I don't blame Tite Kudo for making this series, because Bleach is just awesome. Some people for the longest time have wondered why its called Bleach. Some say its because his hair is bleached, and others have said that its from some Japanese spirit. I kind of believe the first theory, but I have to say that I don't know. Some have debated which one is better, Naruto or Bleach? Just by watching some of the episodes of Naruto, I hyave to give my answer, straight out loud: I hate it. Its just that the acting is much more better and the story feels more mature for the adult audience on Bleach. Some people have wondered if this show should be on Adult Swim, because they believe it doesn't look like something that belongs there. Well, if you watch further into the series, and listen carefully, it is more for adults than it is for kids. There is a massive amount of blood, and the women in this show could dress up a little more provocative. I really love the animation the most about this show. Everything about it looks colorful and vibrant. Every little thing about the show just looks appealing to look at, that you can't take your eyes off of it. The music is just great to listen to. I really love how they try to add in a little bit of everything into it. They even have a little bit of Latin American kind of style to it too. Like this, for example, which is one of my favorite songs in this show: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=ZrsO6pSGUuY&feature=related And its not that this is the only best song that I like in this show, the rest is also incredible. I'm just going to put all of the songs that I adore in this show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wC1B-YhoHM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H74Wg-eh3dI http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=eR-gQer3m9E&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=dQjCtQds7hk&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=BfVChN9jxaA&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=E41E9D-gmco&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=851g7V54zqU There's also the fighting scenes in this show too. There are so many to choose from, but out of all of them, this is my favorite fight scene in the entire series. It's not in English sub, so please keep that in mind, and forgive me if that bothers you for the fact that you want to understand what they are saying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf2Bg1AwON8 Now, who is my favorite character? Everyone always put Hitsugaya as their favorite. I never liked him. I liked Kenpachi Zeraki better than everyone else. He truly proves that he can pwn anyone, and the one thing that he loves the most is the action. Nothing more. My favorite intro song? I had a difficult time figuring out if I liked the one that Orange Range wrote or the one Velonica made, but out of both of these, Velonica wins my vote. http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=1gjR5cq1QA0&feature=related I have to say that I prefer the mangas better, and its almost done. But due to the fact that the series was just license, who I really don't know, you can't read any of it anymore on any website to see how it will end. That's a shame, because I loved reading that series more than any other. But all we have to do is just wait for them to come in local book stores any time from now.
