[IMG]http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l35/hadesunshine/super_nes-super_mario_world.jpg[/IMG] Yes, the game that Shigero Miyamoto said to be his all time favorite Mario game, Super Mario World is my all time favorite Mario game too. I did post SMB as #2 on my previous list, but this one takes the cake for me. This is not only my favorite Mario game of all time, but also my first Mario game that really got me into gaming. Yeah, I grew up playing Sonic 2 on the Genesis, but this one made me become what I have become to this day on forth. The music is great. Koji Kondo, the composer to this game, and also well known to be one of the greatest video game composers of all time, did a fantastic job in this one. even though most of the songs sound the same. The graphics are also great, bringing in so much detail to the background and the character designs. The gameplay, along with the controls is playable for everyone. Using the cape, going into secret levels, finding hidden items is great within itself. Miyamoto, to me, has more of a mind that just can't be solved from human thinking. You can try and try and try to figure out how he comes up with these things for an Italian stereo-type, but never come even near to a conclusion. This game is great, and so is this: 1. This game truly delivers something that any gamer would really play. I got sucked into this so much when I first played the trial, and even today it stands out as one of the greatest games of all time, with the size of the world, the tremendous amount of gameplay, and the ways of how you can play. The music is just unbelievable, and the cinematics themselves are unbelievable too. South Park made an episode out of it. A few celebrities are on this game, such as William Shatner and Mr.T. The game itself just keeps getting bigger and bigger, not just the population that is now more than the size of Ohio, but also the map and areas as well. They keep on adding more and more, and it always gets better due with time. Its just one of those games that will live on forever, like Tetris and Mario. And what do you know, I started and ended with a Blizzard game. Why? Because Blizzard makes such awesome games.
