It's oft quoted that god doesn't change which always leaves me a little perplexed as to the meaning of "change" in this context. Clearly the way god interacts with people has changed, and the way punishment is handed down has changed, the standards and laws by which he expects us to live is at least perceived to have changed by the overwhelming majority of Western Christians. So does god change? And if so, what is meant by "change" in this context? Dante
