screams	17 year(s) ago has anyone else read anything by ra salvatore? i think that his books are great, probably the only modern fantasy books that are worth the read. i'm normally very critical in this genre, being a big fan of tolkien's writings, and i actually enjoyed every page of salvatores books. after reading terry brooks' shannara books, i thought i'd never want to read any fantasy other than tolkien, but i was wrong when i read these.
