Main Search should not be for authorized user only

If I'm not logged in, why do I have to click "music" from the main menu bar in order to search for bands? It seems that the "Search" from the main menu should allow this feature. Otherwise this limits the general population from finding bands easily, or at least when telling people how to find a band. If I'm playing a gig, it is easy for me to say "search for us on MySpace". They simply go to MySpace and click search to find our info. Thanks....

You're absolutely correct! When the new site comes out this is actually the behavior.. Much like facebook the main search will allow you to from any page search groups,people,bands etc etc.. the current search is a pain in the neck.. sorry about that
