As an anime fan, I always dream of cosplaying (dressing up as) my favorite anime characters. Unfortunately, I only did obscure characters from non-animes the first two years I went to my local anime convention, and they were a total bust. But the summer before last (last year I couldn't get passes), I cosplayed as Kairi from the popular video game Kingdom Hearts. I was wearing her school girl outfit from Kingdoms Hearts II. Aside from the awful tie (my great-grandfather's old tie covered badly with leftover skirt fabric), I looked pretty good. I have no cosplay dreams. I considered dressing up as the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who when attending the Chicago Comic Con, but alas, my plans fell through for attending, so it never had to come to that. Also, I need to learn to sew.

I make my own costumes, and the ones for all my friends. :D Last year was Rena from Higurashi, and I have no idea what this year will be. I'm really hoping to do a Fullmetal Alchemist one, but those take a lot of time... something college kids don't have much of.. Also been looking into Melissa from Full metal panic, as it's more of a simple, one day max project.

Well, the chances of me making it to any conventions is slim, but I kinda want to dress as Kim Possible for Halloween... Or at least, I did... Then I got a haircut.

I always wanted to be her for Halloween...but always ended up being a witch.

I'm not really a good figure for cosplaying and I don't go to conventions, but in hypothetical land where neither of those things matter, I'd love to rock a Fourth Doctor cosplay, or perhaps Dave Strider from Homestuck, Sherlock Holmes, or Harley Quinn.
