well here is my problem/thing anout age. when you mean serious do you mean thinking abotu marriage? becasue that should be the ultimate goal of any realtionship(romantic that is). you have to think that if you are serious and not wantign to get married but waut the relationship can kinda be put on pause or something. but how long to pause it fgor./how long can such a relationship stayed paused without intensifing. i think it is too young becasue at 14 yrs of age you arnt thinking/ready to get married. Totally not!!!!! And I don't just say this because I'm 13 but I think that If your mature enough then I see no reason why it would be too young. I've only had one boyfriend in my life and I was 8 but I have been friends with lot's of boys and been in so many quick um, atractions that I think as long as you don't mean "serious" like really "serious" then it should be fine and as long as you listen to your heart then god should at least guide you a bit.

Don't be in such a hurry to grow up; it's not all it's cracked up to be. You have plenty of time to have a boyfriend and date. Why not just enjoy being a 14 yr old girl and do fun things and things that make you happy? Be a kid while you still can:P I think it would be ok to have a guy friend and hang out in groups, but nothing one on one. I'm sure your parents would agree. Focus on God, school, summer, friends and family; all the rest will fall into place for you.
