Its plenty normal. Some people dont even start until they are 15 or 16 (the lucky ones...) Ask your mom when she started. If she was around where u are when she started then that may be a reason why you are a little late.

my mom started her's when she was 10 too!!! wow I am sooo not lucky!! it stinks but ALL girls go through it! and you can't help it or stop it so just live with it!

really have u gone to the doctor. they may put u on birth control to start it or put u on hormones to start it too but i dont think u want it so um yeah.

haha-yeah did go to the doctor...ill just say it wasn't fun. may have to go back in feb. for more tests if everything hasn't taken care of its self by then.:)

if you get it before age 9, thats a problem if dont get it before 16or 17, problem

hey guys update here and another question. I did start...finally at 16! and get this it was the day of the act and i also had the flu so i had to stay in bed for a week.it was horrible! so um yeah. turning 17 this week and i've only had one. again is that normal? i'm not over or underweight. i don't know what the deal is. all girls except my grandmother started when they were like 11 so...i no its normal to start later- and i've had only one and i'm practically 17. gr :angry:

depends on when in your 16 year that you started. If it's a month or two, it shouldn't be a problem since they're very random and off track normally when you start. if it doesn't even out after that then you should see a doctor. how long before your 17th did you start?
