I have a Mac and while I like that it pretty much never gets viruses and it handles the random graphic work I decide to do on it every now and then well, I wouldn't have bought it for myself given the choice. Non-Mac PCs are cheaper and better value for your money if all you're doing is getting online and such, and there's more stuff made for them than for Macs. Particularly for my interests, it's a pain in the butt trying to find Mac ports of the games I want, if they exist at all. And even if they do, a Mac is not a gaming machine :(
So true. And recent news has made it a little more well known that OS X is less secure than Windows. For the majority of users, I wouldn't recommend anything more than a middle of the road netbook. There are three things they are super good at: using the internet, listening to music, and word processing (aka being a college student's laptop). I will bet you I can find a netbook for $400 or less that most people will never use to its fullest potential.

I think that's pretty much us. Maybe Amy? I forget. Cody- as a figment of y imagination, CAN you be sure that you are in fact on your side?

I'm not underestimating anyone, I'm just pointing out that it is, by its very construction, impossible to be penetrated in such a way... Can anyone be completely certain of anything? Can people even be certain that they exist? I can argue philosophy forever... Anyway, as a writer, how many times has your imagination gone against you? If you want to go down that road, the fact that a figment of your imagination has become a great leader against the Bittersweet Dictatorship calls your loyalty to Bittersweet into question... ;)

No, not really. You're overestimating your greatness, for a start. And you are very hasty in assuming we have no purpose in having an enemy. Historically speaking, civil wars happen when there aren't any external enemies. When there is an outside threat people band together but when there is no threat people just tear themselves apart from the inside. The strength of our empire depends on unity, and unity is enhanced by having a common enemy.

If I had designed it, I would be overestimating my own greatness, but I didn't. Ownership was simply transferred to me... If the threat hadn't come from the inside, that might apply, but... In this case, it has... Therefore, you are actually sowing discord... Nice try, though... It's not the first time such logic has been tried and failed... :)
