Well, last time it was estimated, there were 4 sheep for every person in New Zealand. Sheep, as well as cows, are great for the economy! We like our sheep (though I'm more of a goat person myself). That is because Aussies are depraved. I'm yet to come across one person who has done "all kinds of things to sheep", and I know some... out there (?) people. Though people do like to spray paint them different colours from time to time. What about in the South Island Sara? Any different from the main land?

Sam- hahahaha. Yeah, that's a common joke for Aussies. It's mostly not true at all, but do keep well clear of the sheep statue if you ever go to Omarama :pinch: Our dairy is very good though. We are very agricultural and, while it's mostly sheep in the hilly bits, on the plains it's mostly dairy farms. We're a rather damp little country, which makes for good rich grass, which in turn makes fantastic milk. Australia's much drier and the grass is pretty dried up and icky, so the milk tastes gross and not very creamy. Kez- aww :( I know that feeling.

Sheep are cool...I like cows too, but not when they're all crowded in a barn or at the fair because it smells lol... Yeah, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever met any nice Aussies. They've all been utter jerks so far...I've met like a ton of them and every one of them has turned out to be awful lol. There are probably lots of nice people...I just can't seem to find them :P

Now, this is practically treason on my part, so listen good cause I'll only say it once: Some Aussies are really, really lovely. There. I said it. Kezie don't tell on me, k? Please?
