Mark 16:18 New International Version 18 "they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." I think the snake reference is from the Garden of Eden when the snake tried to convince Adam and Eve to disobey God and that the same type of thing will happen to us because we must go out and work in this world with our hands. I believe the Holy Spirit just spoke to me and gave me a revelation that the poison is alcohol, because Christians drink alcohol for communion. (1 Corinthians 11:25) Luke 21:34 (NIV) says, "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap."

Prayers for Samantha Ponder (Liberty University alumni) and Robert Griffin III (I was an RG3 fan and attending one of his games). I don't watch cable a lot, but I hope they both find new jobs that are a better fit for them. I believe they are both Christians. GOD had bigger plans for Tim Tebow outside of professional sports, maybe the same is true for them? JESUS saves! John 14:6

Deuteronomy 18:15-19 [ESV -'A New Prophet like Moses'] 15 "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers, it is to him you shall listen 16 just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die. 17 And the Lord said to me, They are right in what they have spoken. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him." This is a prophecy from Moses of the coming of JESUS Christ. Think about this: The Old Testament prophet to follow Moses was Joshua. JESUS's name in Hebrew is Yeshua and the Greek translation of Yeshua is Joshua ('Yeshua' and 'Joshua' are English spellings of the Hebrew and Greek words for Jesus). Not only that, but the New Testament was written, after JESUS's death, resurrection, and ascension, primarily in the Greek language. Again Yeshua (Jesus) in Greek is Joshua, and Joshua was the name of the Old Testament prophet who followed Moses, who also told the Israelites that JESUS (Yeshua/Joshua) was coming. (New Testament = Greek)

I attend Celebrate Recovery meetings at Mainstreet Baptist Church in Luray, VA. Some of the people from those meetings started a Youtube blog about recovery called Valley's Rise Above. They mention the book I wrote, Prodigal Daughter, about 32 minutes in. Praise GOD for their encouragement of one another and people watching who have been through substance abuse. Thanks for talking about Prodigal Daughter. I pray for JESUS to use the book for His glory!
