plz teens don't poke a knife in my side but on this blog, when i cliked see all of them there was one paragragh. i read it and at h=the end it said"repost this as don't read if under 13" i was troubled. then there was a verse from the bible and it said something like"if you are ashamed to share me w/ you friends, then i will be ashamed to share you w/ my father" that makes me feel bad 4 2 reasons, one because i read sumthini wasn't supposed2, and 2nd b/c i can't repost it and that verse says don't be ashamed. please help and im so sorry

Chicka, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I really don't like those kinds of posts for a couple of reasons. First, the titles of those posts are misleading, if not flat out lying. Second, because putting a guilt trip on someone is not a credible way to assess someone's relationship with God (not that any human can or has the right to do that anyway). I'm pretty sure the title of that post you're talking about was "Don't Read If Under 13" in which case, yes, you shouldn't have gone into it, but the whole reason people are told to post it with that title is because more people will look at something that has either age restrictions or some other suggestive title. I saw a lot of those when I used to have a MySpace, too. We don't need gimmicks to glorify God. In fact, I would even say that if it's using a gimmick like that, it's not glorifying to God.

like i said, my eyes were looking at the middle of the screen and idin't see the top. i am really sorry like i also said, but that at the end kinda makes me feel bad because i know i cant repost it. i didnt want guys in this cuz most of them go flat out crazy and get mad if a chick does that.

You don't have to repost it. Show your not ashamed of Christ with your life, not on some lame and misleading internet forward. That's how it's suppoed to be anyway. ;) Don't worry about not being able to repost it. It wasn't made for message boards like this. It was designed for e-mails (to be forwarded) and MySpace bulletins (which are pointless anyway).

Posts like that are stupid and childish. You don't have to repost even if you are a christian. All they are doing is guilting the reader, its silly.

as far as i see it we shouldnt limit God as far as to say if we dont post something He cant work his will. Second... show me in the Bible where if you dont repost a blog your going to Hell... as for the "if your ashamed" part... I think we're showing enough unashamedness just by bein here and talkin on the blogs about God. So basically that blog was just like a chain mail that u get that sez pass this on or bad things will happen... LIEZ!

You don't have to pass the blog on if you don't want to. I personally think it carries a good message though. It got me thinking and that's what I liked about it. As for the ashamed part, you guys are making other people feel ashamed for having on their blog in the first place. Show me where it says in the Bible that it's wrong to remind yourself of the things you do or don't do by posting a blog. I don't believe you'll find it. I don't wanna ruffle any feathers or anything ,but I felt that I needed to say something. Are you sure that calling it childish or pointlless isn't just your conscience showing you that there is a point to the message of the blog?
