And my mom does it, once again. So, the band is going on this trip. I wasn't planning on going, but an opening came in today and I got super excited because I had money to pay, and I decided that I wanted to go. I came home and talked to Mom. She said that she can't go, so what does that mean for me? I can't go. Apparently I'm too young to go by myself. HELLO? I'm 15. On my way to 16. I can drive. I'm 2 and 3/4 years away from being a legal adult. I think I can handle myself for three days. But no. My little vacation is ruined because she decided to be a pain in the butt and keep me home like a little kid. Now I'm beyond ticked off. Why can't they let me grow up? I'm tired of little things like this.

Blah. I'm just disappointed. All my friends are going to be gone to the beach, and I'll be stuck here. NOTHING interesting. I might make plans to go on a road trip or something. idk.

Well, you have your mom talk to the band director? On the same note, the band director at our school has a daughter in the seventh grade. They won't let her come to a concert at Six Flags with our youth group "because it's too far away." They freak out if she isn't home by seven.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure talking to the band director wouldn't help. =/ She's stubborn. And o.O That's crazy.

I know! It's also annoying.
