Ok, so last year I dated this guy (you might have known him as cookiedough209 -- and yes, I was dating him in person, not just online). Well, everything seemed to be going well, but then all of a sudden he broke up with me saying "It's something I found out and I need to keep it to myself" and he refused to talk to me anymore. Then he deleted his profile on here. I assumed that he hated me and I couldn't figure out why. Over the summer I got over it and moved on. But then, the other day, he came up to me on the bus and asked if he could talk to me. I said yes. Then he asked if I hated him (I said no because I didn't). He then said that the only reason he broke up with me was because his grandparents decided that they didn't want him dating in 9th grade and he didn't talk to me about it because he assumed that I hated him. Then he said that he can date in 10th grade and he never wanted to break up with me in the first place. Then he asked me to homecoming dance. So here's my problem: I just got over this guy. And, yes I do have a soft spot for him and it wasn't his fault, but he didn't explain it to me until NOW -- he let me think that I had done something wrong all summer. And if I end up dating him again, he could just end up hurting me again and I don't know if I'm willing to let that happen. On the other hand, we've been emailing a lot and talking a lot and I think I'm falling in love with him again. I'm not asking anyone to *solve* my problem for me, but if any of you have some insight or advice that could help me figure this out, it would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

If I were you.. I would just be his friend for now. 10th grade.. so fourteen? Fifteen? Yeah. I would advise not going out with him, at least not yet. Be his friend, but don't worry about love just yet.

i totaly agree just be friends for now and make your relationship stronger as friends because best friends can turn into more later on

considering your 16 i think that if you really like him then just give him another chance!
