Ok, My 10th grade Biology teacher told me that when she covers evolution that she'll allow time for me to debate her for an hour and a half. Does anyone have any information, scriptures, sites that might help me defend creation and break the veiws on evolution. thanx

I totally went through the same situation you went through last year in school, except I didn't debate my science teacher for an hour and a half. When my science class last year started studying evolution and people were saying that God didn't exist, then I was so upset that I had to call my pastor during passing time/break! My faith really got tested last year in science and in general! Anyways, I will try to help you. I found it a while back when I was trying to look for stuff to prove that the Bible was true to some non-Christian friends of mine. Anyways, if you can use that to prove that the Bible is the true Word of God, then you should be able to prove that Creation is true, because it's in the Bible. Does that make since? Oh, an interesting example of a problem with evolution. They believe every living organism is in a constant state of evolving. Let's take a look at the woodpecker. The woodpecker, if my memory serves me, according to the Guinness Book of World Records has the highest G-force on earth when it is pecking wood. Now, its beak is designed so incredibly that is can withstand that blow without cracking, and its head is designed so intricately that it can withstand the blow of the beak. If it had a different beak, then its beak would crack and its head would smash into the tree. If it had a different head then its beak would pierce its head and kill the woodpecker instantly. So, if either the beak or the head changed (which according to the theory of evolution, they are/have become different) then it would be extinct. I have very conclusive evidence that they are still around :) . Also, something interesting my brother noted in his college's Biology book...not one single bit of evidence that they have would be held up in a court of law. It's a ginormous string of theories.
