mmk so im thinking about taking birth control for the sole purpose of shorter periods and less frequent ones,, plus it helps clear up acne which can be a plus. =] but yeah, anyone know of a good birth control brand of pills? or have any other advice concerning birth control?

If you're thinking about it then talk to your doctor first. I don't think it is a good idea though.

Birth control pills can screw up your system, so be very careful. Women who have been taking birth control pills often have difficulty in conceiving later, so it's probably best to steer clear. I totally get what you mean about the periods and acne though >_<

my friend's doctor wanted her to take birth control pills so she can have lighter periods. but she talked to me about it and I dont think its such a good idea... it can skrew you up. and every girl goes through heavy periods. but if u really want to Id talk to ur doctor first. just in case.
