It helps a lot. Yes, your teachers probably say to use complete sentences a lot, and it really helps. Second, if this guy does like you, he will make the first move. Let him know, if you must, how you feel. If you get lucky, he'll respond positively. Thirdly, none of this is necessary. You could just, you know, focus on school and sports and G-d and be totally happy being single. It has happened to many girls and WHAM! Suddenly G-d has placed the PERFECT man for them in their lives. But whatever choice you make, I hope it goes well.
