I'm supposed to know all about chloroplasts for a project in school. All I know is that they're green energy and make food from sunlight. I don't want to google if I can I help it. (You never know what you'll find) Help!

http://www.cellsalive.com/cells/cell_model.htm http://www.tvdsb.on.ca/westmin/science/sbioac/plants/chloro.htm http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/cells/chloroplasts/chloroplasts.html Those look like fairly reliable sources at quick glance. Hopefully they have the info you're looking for. Good luck with your project!

Ahh..its been a lil while...but lets see what i can remember chloroplasts hold chlorophyll...chlorophyll takes the sun's energy to produce energy for high energy electrons in photosystem 2. (These electrons are produced from water [H20]) electrons jump on te electrom transport chain. While on the chain, the electron uses the energy to try to equal hydrogen atoms on both sides of the chain. The electron is then out of energy by the time the chain ends (at Photosystem 1). the photosystem uses more of the sun's energy to give it more. This is where it gets blury...i THINK it blends with an hydrogen atom and turns from NADH into NAD+. Ahh! and something about ADT into ATP...cant remember...sorry...i guess you need to look at above sites... or someone can start where i left off (and make any corrections of mine) sorry...
