Does anyone have any advice on how to get a crush to ask me out?

Well, what I would do first is try to find out somehow if the guy likes you or not. You could try several things to do that, such as having a friend ask him what he would think of you and him being more than friends (and if he asks why, have them say "just wondering"), asking one of his friends, or asking him yourself. If he does like you, try hinting at him to ask you to a school function/dance like homecoming or to take you somewhere else. You could also have a friend prompt him to ask you out (if he likes you of course). Whatever you do, BE YOURSELF!!!

I'm sorry, but you're 13. Don't you have anything better you could do? Basically, dating is supposed to be used only for finding your husband, not just to have a boyfriend. I firmly beleive people shouldn't date until they are close to graduating HS. Otherwise, at your age, you set yourself up for FIVE ENTIRE YEARS of heartache. Is it really worth it?

I "dated" (cause many people I know don't consider middle school relationships to be real relationships) three guys back in middle school, and two of them, I dumped, because after the hormone rush of having a boyfriend wore off (and at your age, that will always happen) everything felt wrong. I can guess because I was just looking for someone to tell me, "I love you" even if they never actually said it. JUst dated me, took me to movies, ect. About a month later, I left the guy after finally mustering the courage to say, "It's over." And now my most recent ex and I no longer talk, and it hurts, cause I want to still be friends. This is what happens in middle school, so don't do it. Hold onto your heart, and let Jesus fill the void. It's worth so much more.
