Dear Chronic Christian Complainers...

Alliteration aside; As an apparent, yet appalling aspect of adherence to an allegedly assassinated angel of approach (be that to abiding and alluring animateness), this active and accustomed abhorrence to abstaining from asinine acquainting (aptly assigned and accessible to all amidst the always abounding advances of social media) the audience to the allegations and annoyances that admittedly assail us all at times, is not, all the same, appropriate as it would appear, for the authentically ardent of acceptors in the apprenticeship of Adonai. As is, affecting and arousing the awe of alien analysts is more advantageously achieved at the acknowledgment of authentically abased actions and not the incessant ascription of attacks and annoyance at every adversity. Agitated at your antics, Dante

I tried. I really tried. I'm way too mentally-exhausted to comprehend that. Can someone dumb it down?

I don't complain too much since I'm too old for that :D Judy[/quote] And yet my facebook feed is ever engulfed with chronic Christian whiners. You'd think for people who have "joy" in their lives they could find better ways to use their time than to be constantly pissing and moaning about every little thing. Lately it's mostly been a youth pastor I know that's been complaining about never getting sleep because he is working long hours. Which is understandable. But it just doesn't seem to jive with the Bible's command to Christians, and it is annoying. If you don't like the downsides of living in a economically materialistic-driven society wherein you have to work long hours to pay for your extraordinarily wealthy lifestyle (and by "extraordinarily wealthy" I refer to any Americans, as we live in abundance beyond what any of the "rich men" Jesus spoke to ever had, not to be misconstrued as a claim that this person is in fact wealthy by modern 1st world country standards), then don't complain about it. Go live like John the Baptist if consumerism is too hard for you. But I digress, what does it mean in terms of salvation for even the poor in this country to have more than the rich men to whom Jesus spoke, given that he assured them of the impending damnation to behold the rich? Do we merely tell ourselves that it is different to salve ourselves of the idea that we would have to give up more than we would really like to follow Christ with earnest, or is there a genuine difference that allows for modern believers to live lives of excess? Most of my Christian church friends on FB usually don't complain. They usually are praising. Dante, you know that I have cancer. The only times I've complained has been when the Downers try to get me depressed about it, or my complaint today about what I went through yesterday about the knee and neck pains. I just found out on Google that my irritability came from the Valium I took 30 minutes before the procedure (to make me as still as possible).
