Post-grad studies with my first lot of assignments due, moving house, messy flatmate driving me nutting, work, life group, uninteresting conversations on here. That about cover it? Oh, and bad headaches and little sleep every single day. I like my vow of silence. :P

Seriously, have you been here? Cause this is a pattern. If I check this board more than once I day I know I'm delusional.

I come here every day in hopes to see something, but it seems like nothing is happening. We need to get out the shock paddles for this place.

We normally have at least one post, even if it's in the porn/modesty forums. I'm just surprised that there's been absolute silence. Cody: ... touche.

That doesn't mean that at any given moment there might not be a direction that is agreed upon by most people, but that when only one person is defining a direction as up while everyone is defining the same direction as down, then the single person is probably in the wrong. Now don't get all multicultural and "languages change" on me. There is a concept of "up" no matter what language you are using.

That confused me o.o Please explain?[/quote] Depending on the situation up is relative. In a gravity environment, like Earth, up is the opposite direction from the pull of gravity. In space on the other hand there really is no up or down so it is relative to the observer and the observee.
