i hate the doctors office.....and that includes shots :pinch: ...... how do i not think about the shots when i get them?

i know. once i had blood drawn, and even after they took the needle out of my arm, i still didn't know they had taken it out. you just start singing really loudly. it generally helps, even though it annoys the crap out of the doctor. XD

Hehe, cool suggestions. When I had to get shots before going to Mexico, I just hopped up on the table, rolled up my sleeve, and looked the opposite direction the whole time. I still felt it, but it didn't seem too bad.

nedles suck...lol i used to have to get mii blood drawn all the time b/c i was on a med for seizures and they had to make sure that there was the rite amount of med in mii blood and that it did not need adjusting....(thankfully God healed meh....!!!!!!!!!:side: ) when i go the the drs to get blood drawn or shots mii mom will usually hold meh and talk or pray with me the whole time and i still feel it but i'm not thinking about it so i dont tense up which makes it hurt even worse...

when i waz really little(7) i fell on a knife(s) or fork(s) and had 2 get stitches and it hurt pretty badly(if u havent had stitchs they num u w/shots) but i think part of the reason waz cuz i waz really scared and uptight.(Screaming and Crying)but i kinda no the doctor and he is funny so he told me some jokes and that made me calm down a little.
