I thought I would start a thread for favorite quotes, because I have some favorite quotes that I would like to share with you all! Feel free to share favorite Bible verses too as well as favorite quotes! Here are some of my favorite quotes: "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable." — Brennan Manning "It's a wonder I haven't abandoned all my ideals, they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart." -Anne Frank "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." -Anne Frank "Nobody ever became poor by giving." -Anne Frank As you can tell, I love quotes by Anne Frank. For anyone who doesn't know who she is, she is a German Jew who lived during the Holocaust and died of thyphus (spelling?) in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp after living in hiding in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (then called Holland) for about 2 years. Her diary is really famous and translated into over 60 languages, I believe.
