The Word of God in the Bible clearly contradicts what the world around us says on a number of issues. The world like the media promotes permissiveness in almost every area and every way. However, the Bible makes quite clear what God's view is and tells us what is right and wrong. The question is whether we are going to follow what popular culture says or what God says. For awhile, it may even appear that the icons of popular culture have it all, but how many of such famous people die prematurely? The bottom line is that in the long run God can't bless those who follow popular culture where it goes directly against the Word of God.
