I don't read that book because its falling in love with the undead. That is kind of against the Bible... right? As a writer it is my wish to read beautiful novels and take insporation and write a beautiful novel myself. But I have to stand up for what I belive in, and that doesn't include falling in love with the undead. Anybody agree?

I agree. I don't really like anything to do with vampires and the like, its like they are mocking the spiritual world (angels n demons kinda thing), like they don't realise that there is a war between good and evil going on. I have more thoughts but I'll get back to it when more people have posted. :)

*shrugs* I haven't read it yet, but I'm planning to. I agree with what brio says, and I will take that in perspective while I'm reading. But I don't think it's that big of a deal, because it's just a book, and I don't let books affect(effect?) what I do or think (except for the Bible, of course). I think that reading books can become a problem if you start to believe what they say. I generally will read a book, and will say "well that was dumb" or "that was a good book" and go about my day, but if I were to change how I act or what I do because of a book, it becomes a problem. There is also a problem when reading the book becomes addictive, and I avoid doing my chores or something because I'm reading the book. This opinion is only based on what I do though, not how other girls may respond. I wouldn't suggest the books to a few of my friends, because they tend to become addicted to the books and sometimes even redecorate their room so that it looks like a room in the series or something. (Crazy, I know).

I am a super-vampire freak and a big fanatic of Twilight. However, that is not why I'm making this statement. Look, it's a FANTASY, FICTION, NOT REAL! I say there is nothing wrong with it because of that. Look, there are things that I'm NOT a fan of that I would back up on this! (all depending. The Golden Compass, I don't agree with) Anyway, TWILIGHT IS NOT EVIL!!! When even your mom wants to read it, you know it can't be bad.

I've heard it can be addictive! One of my friends is reading it for the 5th time. I'm not saying its evil... I'm just saying its against the Bible.(Which is kind of saying its evil, sorry!) I love romances, I'm all about them, just not this one.

"less set in their ways" friends become addicted.

I honestly don't think this book is addictive. In fact, Harry Potter is the only book that I've ever been addicted to.
