i'm gonna put this in the Advice forum and in here so I can get a little bit of what everyone has to say on this. ok, so i have these great friends. My best friend, Grace, she's cool and all but she never listens to me. I'll start to say somethin then she'll cut me off and talk about w/e she's gotta say without sayin "oh, and wut did you wanna say"...y'know that kinda thing. It gets real annoying and its kinda a one-sided relationship [me listening to all she's gotta say]. we've been best friends since the 5th grade and we've pretty much been through everything together from our first crushes to puberty...everything I mean she's just been there for me but now its just ehh...I get tired of just listening I wanna talk sometime too, y'know? Then my other friends...Averi in front of all our friends she's this nice angel, behind their backs when its just me and her...she's such a devil, she's real mean to me and complains how I'm mean and that I never talk to her etc etc. Then there's Gabie...she's been my "sister" since we were in 3rd grade and she moved to a different school and now she never calls, emails, or anything! It sucks...all my friends and me are growin farther apart i hate it. but wut can i do about it?

well about the first one just confront her and if she won't let you do that then just write a note to her about how you feel theres always less presure that way and you don't have too push in the words with her interuppting for the second one maye its better off if yall arent friends try to confront when its just yall and if she still acts the same then slowly back off b/c ive been through this sictuation and if you say i don't want to be friends then everyone is asking you about why you said it and everything and there is always two sides to every story.. lastly try to contact her and if she doesnt want to contact you back then she can't say later on that you just forgot about her and all we i hope i helped somewhat

Every once in awhile she would listen to me, but normally only cause she doesn't have anything to "discuss" with me. We were planning this thing too that we were going to go to this weekend and then she gets in trouble with her parents, and she knew that she was going to get in trouble. So now she can't go which means that i COULD go without her, but it wouldn't be the same. So its like i'm being punished too. idk, i guess you just gotta let them do their thing and if it doesn't work, just tell them that you won't stand for it. if nothing changes then thats their prollem for not realizing how lucky they are to have you as a friend.
