Who here has read (or has had to read) Gilgamesh? We're reading it in Lit class this year and it's kind of interesting -- especially the part about the flood that remarkably parallels the Noah's Ark story.

I heard that they found his tomb. last year, my dad was exicted to hear that. But I also heard rumors on wednesday that Noah and Gilgamesh knew each other. I wouldn't know since I don't know anything about the Deluge story. But it has nothing to do with the Deluge story. After all, Peter did say that our teachings are not of any fables or fairy tales. I especially asked about the Deluge during my Genesis class on monday.
