God in his eyes?

Alright, here's the background story. I spent new years eve with my boyfriend and his family (wonderful people btw). Sometime during the night, he and I were alone for a while and I began to have this utterly random breakdown over something that happened a while back. He got rather worried and came over to where I was sitting on the ground and took me in his arms and held me as I was crying and trembling, telling me that it was going to be ok. Somewhere in all of this, he tilted my head so I had to look him dead in the eyes. Now, I really don't know how to explain this, but when I looked in his eyes, it was like God was completely filling them. It just took one glance and I immediately thought, "My gosh, that's Christ!" All I could see was God, and all I could feel was His love. After a second or two of that, this complete unworthy feeling swept over me, and I had to look away. Now I'll get to my question... Is it possible to actually see God through someone else's eyes in a time like this? I mean, it's all I saw. It's one of those things you recognize right away but you have absolutely no idea why. What the heck just happened?

yea i think so cuz i have a pretty good story kinda similar to that but any way my pastors daughter and her friend were driving one night and they got stuck in the ditch and it was dark and the weather was bad, well a guy pulled up and helped them get out but when they turned around to thank him he was gone no where to be seen

I believe that that was definitely God within your boyfriend. I don't, however, believe that that was God's eyes you were looking at. We cannot view God in all his glory, and God cannot look directly at us in that sense, because of original sin. (Like when he had to turn away from Jesus during his crucifixion). That's just a theory... don't hold me to it. But either way, that's really awesome, chica. God reached out to you that night.
