OK, well my best friend used to like me....A LOT....and that was this summer...but I didn't like him back...at first. Then I started to like him and he said he was gonna ask me out (we talked on the phone a lot but didn't get to hang out much) but never did. I got tired of waiting around for him (but I never told I liked him) and he finally told me he liked some other girl when school started. So I told him, "Well, if you really like her why don't you just ask her out?!" I said it when I was really mad but he didn't take it that way, he thought I was serious....so he did. And she said yes.....soooo now ALL he can talk about is his girlfriend and I talk to him EVERY SINGLE DAY....He is my best friend EVER! It is really annoying because I like him a lot, and I told him I like him, and all he said was that I should have told him that this summer. So now I have nobody and he and his girlfriend couldn't be happier. I know that jelousy is bad but I can't help it. She acts like she knows him better than anyone but they NEVER talk that much....and they just met this year....he didn't even know her for a month when they started going out...and we have been best friends since last year! UGH....sorry about all this I just SERIOUSLY needed to vent...and well you can reply if you want to....buuut yeah...has anyone here ever had this kind of problem?

Ha...that is funny, cuz I went through something alot like that last year. It sucked. But let me tell you one thing-God totally stripped me of liking this guy. I never thought I would get over him. I thought this other girl was ruining my EXSISTANCE. (I was a melodramatic 8th grader, k.) But suddenly, all my feelings like vanished. So, the only good advice I can give is to give your relationship to God. If it is meant to be, he will take care of it. But until then, i suggest focusing on your relationship with your Father. B)
