ok so i am very confused because there is this guy that i reallly like! like alot! but then there are many reasons for me to think he doesn't like me or that i shouldn't like him. 1 reason: one of my best friends if like his worst enemy and the absolutely HATE each other. even there families hate each other. 2 reason: when we are alone he acts like he likes me and he flirts with me ALOT but then when one of these girls( i am going to call her Molly) comes around, he leaves me out and pretends like am not even there and he does like everything with her! i hate it! 3 reason: his sister is one of my best friends and sometimes she hints that i like him and when she does, he acts all grossed out like i am going to give him a disease or something! PLUS I DON'T KNOW WHY I AM EVEN WORRYING BECAUSE I CAN'T HAVGE A BF UNTIL NEXT YEAR BECAUSE MY PARENTS WON'T LET ME AND BECAUSE HE IS LIKE 2 GRADES AHEAD OF ME!!! Well, at least you know what's coming. ;) Hmm... where to start? Let's start with your parents. You say they don't want you to date until next. I'm gonna guess that is when you turn 16. (Because most parents are fond of that age for letting their children date) G-d commanded us, "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your G-d is giving you." This means obeying your parents' wish that you not date till next year. And then, to cover the yucky problem of this boy's odd behavior. He acts like he likes you when you two are alone together, but ignores you when you're out in public. Hm. He sounds like he's just using you for his own pleasure. He knows he can get you to flirt and boost his ego, and knows that he can get others to flirt with himself, it sounds like. And if he is so grossed out when people hint that you like him, then he doesn't seem too fond of you. Also, his age. You say that he is two grades, or years, older than you. This means, acting on the assumption that you turn sixteen next year, that you are fifteen now, which makes him roughly the age of 17. Now, this kind of dating is popular where I live, but due to a difference in maturity, these sorts of relationships are hard to handle, and I don't recommend them. So, wait till next year, and seek out a boy more worthy of your affection.
