lol its a big change playing acoustic though cause its a completely different style... cause i learned for a year and a half on my electric, so i taught myself rock and metal basics and composition and stuff, but now i got an acoustic last week for guitar class (easiest credit in the world ;) and its completely different, so its pretty good for me to learn different styles i guess.. lol... hey ill add you guys...

Yeah I really like Chris Tomlin stuff, there's alot to work with. I don't lead worship, as I am tech support or w/e you wanna call it, lol. Anyway, I can think of some of songs that sound great acoustic but they don't have really repetive or catchy(not the word I wanna use but I can't think of how else to put it) chorus's - don't know if that's what you're lookin for. Some them I'm thinking of are -Still Be My Vision -Be Unto Your Name I have this book of songs that my group did at Creation when we only had acoustic guitars and bongos, we still do them with our big band but I think some of them might work well, if I remember right. -God Of Wonders -Be Glorified -Better Is One Day -I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever -In The Secret -Star Of Morning <3 -O The Wonderful Cross -You Are So Good To Me -Here I am To Worship That's all I can think of right now, I know there's alot that should be coming to mind. I really like David Crowder but he uses like a hundred different intruments and 'noisemakers'. I'm not sure if you know about this site: www.ccli.com but you should be able to get someone to let you use it, it's like The resource. I have to get someone else from my church to logon for me. Not sure if that helps...

evan earwicker has a lot of neat songs. i play bass in my praise band, and i like to suggest songs like spirit in the sky. just stuff that is normally not done, but has cool meaning if you sing it as a praise song. my next suggestion might be lovesong, by the cure. i enjoy playing that on the bass a lot too.
