Mmk, so I like this guy and he likes me (: But heres the thing, hes 22 and im 16. And dont worry my parents know and they like him. And he is a big christain guy, and we agreed no sex before marriage. Well we talk all the time and things and he is the sweetest ever. I can come to him and talk about anything and I know he wont judge me or tell anyone. I totally trust him and he trusts me. We talked about it (dating) and he said he didnt want to date me till I turn 18 so he could take me places and show me off. (aint that sweet?!) and I told him I was worried about what was going to happen between now and then and he said if it was meant to happen then it will and I have a special part in his heart. and that he just didnt feel right about the age difference so he wasnt wanting to go out yet because he wants things to really work out bwtween us. and I told him I know good things take time and I didnt want him to do something he didnt feel right about. and I asked him if it was just the age thing, and he said "yeah trut me. if you were 18 you know we would already be dating"... anyways so heres my thing ladies, do yall think its wrong about the age difference? I mean when we date im going to be 18 and he is going to be 24... Yalls opinions are much appreciated (:

I diffinatly think wait but you've already decided that so good on you. Also something to remember, guys and girls work and think in different ways, specially ones with big age gaps so remember to talk about things, specially if you are uncertain (I hope that made snse >_<)

Dont take this the wrong way but i dont think its good to date older men especially when ur only 16. All wait on lilrush's opinion though. :)

Its just me... but I think that is a pretty big age difference. 6 years??? Well my grandparents were 7 years apart.. but that was in the 1950s. But you sound like you really like this guy. Yes he likes me the same way. He told me and we decided we were going to wait since im only 16 and he doesnt feel right about it (: and 6 years aint that bad (:
