I have a cancer update. The drs found a tumor on my liver back in July. I'm getting radiation seed for it on Nov 7. they put them around the tumor to zap them with Cyber Knife. I'll have that some time in Nov, then a chemo combo in Dec. I think it'll be 6 months or until I die ( a little black humor there, folks). They found a tumor on my left lung back in 2010. Cyber Knife took care of it. It's not there anymore. I call that a miracle since God used the drs to have me be in remission for a year. Yes, it's me again, the one so many dislike for being blunt and truthful, which teens hate hearing. ok, ok, enough of the funning! I'm back since I actually have missed you all except for Cody and Brandon since I've communicated with them on FaceBook. I do miss you all, Cody and Brandon. Hey Brandon, I hear that you're back with your folks. I'm glad that you want to get things settles between you all. That's cool, man. I've really learned a lot with my bible studies over these past two years. I also send them to the prison ministry that my church does. Anyway, I can't wait to get to heaven now! It's in GOD'S time not my time. ]Think about it, the wolf and sheep actually hug each other. For me, that's a wow moment! I think it's in Jeremiah, and yes, I've learned to spell names far more correctly! My bible study now is a weekly one by Beth Moore called "Believing God". It's cool, though I'm not too impressed with her delivery on the dvds or in the workbook. She's okay. I'm just not used to someone yelling at me from a podium or be [b][/b] SO [u][/u] dramatic in the book! it's rather yucky for someone who's nearly *cough, cough* 60. Gasp, I can't believe it! I'm 2 months from being 60! I sure don't feel it except in the knees and cancer. I feel 30-40something! :lol: :cheer: :laugh: P.S. Oops. I just found out that it's actually been 11 months since I was last on instead of 2 years. Sorry for the blooper, guys. :blush: :ohmy: :lol:

Well, no radiations seeds today. I just found out this AM when I went to Roanoke that I wasn't supposed to eat anything after Midnight last night as I was going to be under FULL sedation. Oh well. it's rescheduled for the 9th (Wed) at 8AM. Heck, I set the alarm for 4AM since Judy and I had to leave at 5:30-6AM for my 7AM appt. I just forgot to turn on the alarm! :ohmy: I woke up at 4:30AM anyway. Have you all "one of those days?!" :huh: :blink: :laugh:

UPDATE: My radiation seeds will be put in today at 8AM. I've been up since 3AM. Woke up and couldn;t go back to sleep because I'd set the alarm for 4:30AM. It's almost 6AM now. Must wash and get ready to go since Judy's picking me up in a half-hour to an hour. Bye kids!

I didn't know what was going on when they put me into Isolation when they got me ready for the procedure today. THEN they told me that my Oct nasal swab came up with MRSA. I didn't have a clue for a month and me around people! I also was on morphine today for the procedure, so I forgot about the MRSA when I went to see Margie and here grandchild as well as brought over a foot-long Subway Melt to the church today for the pot luck dinner. *Growl* The baby's mom gave me heck w/o knowing the details. A server at the dinner gave me a "look" when I told her not to serve the Subway. it's been a good day about the seeds and a rough one about MRSA and peoples' hysteria. :) :cheer: Oops, forgot about Addie (morphine still working on me!). Update Nov 12- I'm only a carrier, not contagious, thank God. However, when people hear mercerr they panic all over the place, then gossip their heads about it! One person even walked away so fast, he seemed to be running away from the Plague! :laugh: I'm laughing since it was funny as heck to watch the person walk so funnily fast! I didn't go to an apt dinner last night since I didn't want to hear the merser talk about me like "What's [i]SHE[/i] doing here at the dinner with mercer?" I don't need to be around talk like that, no body does.
