How would you handle abortion?

We already have a debate thread on abortion, but what I want to know is: Pretend you had control over all three branches of government, how would you handle the abortion issue? Leave abortion rights as they are? Exercise greater control over abortions? Exercise less control over abortions? Abolish abortion entirely? Something else? Feel free to explain

So I believe we should have our own rights to *our* bodies, And I actually wrote a paper on abortion and how it's wrong for my literature class, even though I got a C, I feel it was a great paper. I believe we should be able to choose, but i'm not saying abortion is right, because I feel that it is not right.[/quote] Incredible necropost aside, what makes you feel like it is not right?

It's rare to see someone who thinks people should have the right to make decisions about their body while still holding that abortion is wrong. Dante
