I don\'t know what to do.

Okay. So here's the deal. I haven't been eating much. No, I am NOT starving myself. I usually only eat dinner nowadays because that's the only time I'm hungry. If I eat breakfast or lunch, it feels as if I could throw up because I ate too much. Like for example, I had one piece of pizza today for lunch and it felt like I could puke. So, today I asked my mom what I should do and all she said was stuff like "Force myself to eat" and "eat every meal every day". But I can't! I don't want to throw up, because it's just nasty. I promise you I am not anorexic. I eat when I'm hungry, I just haven't been hungry recently. I'm already skinny, I have been my whole life, so it's not good. I have been keeping an eye on my weight and it seems as if I'm losing it. For example, last week I was 102 pounds and this week I am 98.5 pounds. I know it isn't healthy. I have been trying to eat more. I know you guys will probably suggest to go to the doctor. But I already know what they are going to say "Eat food." I know I need food, I'm not trying to lose weight or make myself skinnier. I just can't help when I'm hungry or not. Has anybody else been in this situation?

Yeah, I have been kind of stressed about school stuff like grades and what not. And yeah, it probably shrunk because I haven't been eating as much lol. I'm just nervous that my mother will take me to the doctor's or something. I know my mom is worried. She just told me it's time for dinner and said "And you ARE going to eat." I don't want her worried!:(

I have the same thing happen when i'm stressed out about myself (self image things... >.>) but what you could do to get your appetite back up and to stay healthy while you do it, is to eat things other than solid foods. Jello, popsicles, ice cream, soups/noodles will stay down much better than chickens or pizza. Smoothies also help if you have access to making them. it'll provide you with a lot of the nutrition you need in a non-food form. For protines, nuts are good and normally dont make you feel ill. If your mom is too worried, ask her to make you some kind of fruit/ whatever smoothie so she knows you're making that attempt, but are just having a bit of a fight with solids. Hope that helped. :)

I'm going through it now. Usually, my breakfast consists of french toast, eggs, and whatever else I decide to make. Yesterday morning, I ate two bites of a waffle and felt like I was going to die. I think we just go through this stuff as teenagers. *shrug*
