alright so im freshman in highschool and there is a boy that likes me. he walks me to my 6th and 7th period class everyday and he always flirts with me. but hes a senior and i kinda like him but im not sure. i always feel so comfortable walking with him and talking to him.and all my friends always joke around saying "he's going to rape you" but idk i feel like im starting to like him more and more everyday.but i dont want to get hurt. so this might sound like a really stupid story but i need some advice on this situation.

*is a Freshman with experience with senior boys* Ignore the crush. I know it's hard, but it's for the best. You'll probably end up getting hurt in the end. And what about when he graduates? You won't be able to see him every day. He'll be going off to college or getting a job, entering the real world. A world that he'll have to get used to. You can't be there to support him through all that. Then there's the whole legal thing. I'm not sure how it is where you are, but here, it's not the best for a 14- or 15-year old girl to be seen with a boy that's 18+ years old. That can cause some serious issues whether there are sexual things involved or not. It's still considered... bad, I guess. Also, you're young. Try to stay away from boys as long as possible. They seem to cause a lot of unneeded trouble and heartbreak. Wait until you're a junior-senior to get involved with dating. :)

i completly understand what ur saying but im fifteen and im not sure how old he is but at the most hes 3 yrs older than me, and im turing sixteen this year. and this might sound stupid but since its his senior year i knew that we would only have a year together so yeah, idk how to explain what im trying to say

Because, personally, if someone said that about a boy I liked, it would make me second think whether they were right, even if they were just joking. Protect yourself. Protect your heart. But, at the same time, there is nothing wrong with talking to someone, and finding out if you like them. Just...you know, be careful. (:

*is a senior with senior boy experience* Because it's easier to joke about a problem rather than to realize it is a problem and fix it? I'm with Kayla on this. Just wait. Besides, he could just be a nice guy who's decided to be your friend. That's how a lot of the seniors in our school work.
