Can someone help me please? There is this guy in my Spanish class who just moved to the area from Ohio (he has only been in Washington for a couple of weeks or so) and I have a gigantic crush on him! I know he's a Christian 'cause I asked him if he was a Christian and he said "yes." I've been talking to him a little bit before school starts every day if I get a chance too (I only have Spanish every other day 'cause my school is weird! lol) and I found out other stuff about him too like that he plays clarinet and saxophone (sp?) and he likes some jazz music (the funny thing is he's a band geek (that's what I call anyone who's in band) and I'm a choir geek! lol), etc. According to lonikelam in the Open Discussion forum (I posted something about this on the discussion called "What girls need to know about guys"), if a guy likes you he might lean forward when your talking to him and do things like fold his hands and stuff. He also said to watch for the guy's facial expressions too. Now, the guy I like in my Spanish class I would clasify him as the shy type (at least for now) and from what I know of, he doesn't have a lot of friends at the moment (at least that I know of). He is really nice and really cute! What should I do about him and how can I tell if he likes me? I see him tommorrow, so I can try to give you all an update about him tommorrow if I can. Well, I recommend just being a friend to him right now. Don't try to develop a different kind of relationship with him. He's just moved and needs friends. You say he's shy, so try to help him out with learning the school or whatever, but give him plenty of space to get his feet on the ground on his own. He'll do things in his own time. In the mean time, pray for him and his family, because moving is never easy. Also, you could ask him if they've found a church yet or if they need any recommendations on churches, etc. Let him feel welcomed, but don't pester him. ;) And as I would tell any other girl in your situation, focus on your relationship with God, make friendships and enjoy, and leave the rest in HIS hands.
