I circumvent these problems by never telling people things. Emotionally unhealthy? Sure, but at least I don't have my good faith in others destroyed. In any case *hugs* I'm sorry, that does suck :|

I hear ya. I only share things I don't want others to know to my best friend, and my man. Even my best friend still tells her boyfriend some of the stuff! It's frustrating, even though I know he doesn't really care and won't repeat it to anyone else. It's just not his business.
