So for almost a year now i have been on a one year commitment of no dating and honestly it has been rough at times but my relationship with God has become so much stronger and He has honestly become first in my life. Well my questions is i dont know what to do after the commitment is done. I dont know if i should date. There is no one i even know yet who i would even really consider dating and its hard. I see so many of my friends with great relationships and i want that so bad well duh everyone wants that. I just dont want to date the wrong guy. I also am very picky like if they are not a christian, musical, and sportys i wont really like them. Is that a bad thing? like should i just pick guys that have that or should i like someone even if they dont??

okay here is the thing you can date if you want to but you still need to keep God in the relationship and i have found that if it's a good christain guy tht's alo easier and you should spend at least five to ten minutes a day with God- praying to him, worshipping, or studying his word-. Also remembr that that boyfriend or the guy yu have a crush on will not always be there so yu shouln't be thinking about them all the time, think about him but also focus your thoughts on God and that will make a break up or rejection easier. Just remember that God is everything to you and that a guy is just a guy. Im glad you made a commitment like that. It took alot of guts and perserverance. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: I hope that you will stay close to God but also remember that God never said it was wrong to date. And don't worry about the relationships of your friends, you will most likely have a greater realationship with a guy because of yur high standereds and because you are holding out and not just settleing for someone. I congratulate yu on that as well. You keep you standereds and you love for God. Love, Jenna (jcpenney) <3
