i got this person named alex(not his real name)off a pen pal site called penpals now and he wants a girlfreind and i want a boyfreind.hes 1 year older then me.we only email 1 another is this ok?

Some people find great spouses online. I'd be extra careful about this person and make sure it's okay with your parents first.

personally i would not date online. You never know if he could be lying or not. You just never know. But that is my opinion.

i really dont think you should be doing this dating online becasue you may think you know this guy but you could be wrong. you never know he could be a 30 year old man who lives in new york. and what if something did happen to you like he kidnaped you........your mother would be torn apart, but she would probably also be disapointed in you for doing something like that.
