Ok so i was thinking. Farts are flamable! u can light them. my brother has tried it before. but what makes them flamable. i mean what is in the gas that makes them u know flamable??? i know its a weird question but its been bothering me so i thought id ask! and yes im perfectly sain!!!! mandi:silly:

My science teacher actually explained what gases are in a fart, actually. He's a cool dude lol. Anyway, i think its actually a veeerrrryyyy small percentage of helium. I'm not guaranteeing its helium though, but thats what i want to say.... maybe ill check on that.

i wish my science teacher would do that. my science teacher blushes when he talks bout the birds and bees with us!:laugh:

My science teacher told us a joke yesterday: When you want to catch a polar bear, you cut a hole in the ice and then you line the whole with peas (like green peas). Then, when the bear comes to take a pea, you kick him in the icehole! And then there was: What do you see when a mol (6.02 x 10^23) of moles digging? Molasses! Yeah... That's the kinda guy Mr. Rapelje is (he pretends he's all mean and tough and everything -- and he is a tough grader sometimes, but he's really nice -- so he refers to himself as Mr. Crapelje). He's amazing! It's the only reason I actually like Chemistry (even though it gave me an A- and therefore screwed up my 4.0 GPA.... )
