Why are guys like this? I'm fourteen. I don't date. I think it's pointless at this age. The guy who's been my best friend since I was five should know that. Urgh! Three weeks ago, I was texting one of my best friends. He told me that he liked me and asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no. Ever since then, he's been annoying the crap out of my friends. My best friend has been getting texts from him asking about me on a daily basis. She stopped texting him. Guess what? He went to my other best friend. She's aggravated. His best friend, another one of my best guy friends (this one's probably closer to me than the other guy) won't even talk to him anymore. It got to the point to where he couldn't even talk to his best friend without the conversation being about me. Now the guy's aggravating me again. I told the guy that I'm still talking to that I'm irritated. At least he's standing up for me. He just lost his best friend in order to protect me (another reminder of why he's one of my best friends). This guy asked me out again. My answer: "If I said no to you three weeks ago, what in the world makes you think I am going to say yes now?" I can't even talk to him anymore. It's like... We can't be best friends since he's basically obsessed with me. It's actually kind of freaking me out. Sorry this is so long. Thoughts?

explain in a nice way that friendship is all ur offering him:) if hes really ur friend he will exept that

I've tried. It seems that friendship is not enough for him. All of my friends are fed up with it, and like I said, he is no longer best friends with my other best guy friend because he was getting so aggravating. He claims he's in love with me. *sigh* Doubtful. I'm just pretty much over it. It's annoying and I'm really starting to get upset since I can't even talk to him anymore.

Tell your "friend" that if he can not respect the fact that you don't want to be more than just friends your just not gonig to be his friend at all.
