This is mainly for the younger girls but I have some questions. How do you define as mature person? What makes them mature? Do you think you are mature? When does a girl become a woman?

The dictionary definition of being "mature" is when you've reached all stages of development, mostly physically. But as we've been defining it on here, it's when the hormones settle down, or when you realize that they are only hormones and nothing more. When you can deal with a situation and not throw a fit over it.

I think you become mature when you are done developing (you know girl things) and I am pretty scared bc I am almost done! (seriouly I hae had all those things start happening!)

It can also be mature as in taking care of family, friends, etc. Mature as in knowing when to take things seriously. I'm not sure exactly what makes them mature...it can develop as someone grows up and they've experienced something, or it can just be part of their personality, etc. I do think I am mature, but I can be immature, and I do love to have fun and just do things young girls do. I know WHEN to be mature. When does a girl become a woman? I guess when they've grown more mature. And when they start having those "girl things" happen to her (physically...you know what I mean).

I think mature is when you start acting more like an adult rather than a kid and when you can start taking on more responsiblillties. I do think i am mature, I take on more responsibilities than any of my older brothers so.. sorry if I sound egotistical.

I think Creamsoda was talking to me about the comment I made in response to her reply. Yeah they can be but you get my point right? Yay Kellie, discussion! I think they can. People can be mature spiritually and metally even if they aren't physically, its definatly a psychological thing too.
